Job Opening: Seasonal Right of Way Tech

Harper County Public Works is hiring a seasonal Right of Way Technician to work during the Spring and Summer months.

Under the supervision of the Right of Way Technician, this position will help ensure all traffic control devices installed on County roadways are compliant with the Manual on Uniform Traffic Control Devices (MUTCD) to ensure safe and orderly movement of traffic through the County right of way systems.  This includes replacing missing or damaged road signs throughout the County, and aiding in the placement of signage to indicate a road or bridge is closed or under construction.

Candidates must be at least 18 years of age, and possess a valid, non-restricted driver’s license.  Pre-employment criminal background check required.   

Rate of pay will be negotiated based on experience and skill level.
