Harper County Health Department is currently accepting applications for a Full Time Public Health Office Assistant. This position provides clerical support for multiple Public Health programs, including (but not limited to) in person and telephone customer service, maintenance of confidential client records, appointment scheduling, and Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable processing. This position is essential to the operation of the agency.
Employees must be 18 years of age or older, must possess a high school diploma or equivalent, and have knowledge or experience in clerical and receptionist functions. Experience in public health or related field, with medical records training preferred.
