Harper County Public Works is currently accepting applications for a Full Time Mechanic. Under the supervision of the Shop Foreman, this position performs repairs and maintenance on the County Public Works’ trucks, tractors, and all related construction equipment and vehicles. This department is also responsible for maintenance and light repairs of the County fleet vehicles and various other departments’ vehicles and equipment needs.
Employees must be 18 years of age or older, possess a current, valid, unrestricted Driver’s License, and have experience working on a variety of vehicles and construction equipment.
Starting wage will be determined based on experience and skill level.
