Job Opening: Full Time Chemical Applicator

The Harper County Board of Commissioners is accepting applications for a Full Time Chemical Applicator to be responsible for conducting spraying of chemicals on private property and rights of way to eradicate weeds.    

 

Responsibilities include, under the supervision of the Noxious Weed Director, properly handling and mixing chemicals to spray right of way and private property, assist customers with weed identification and eradication and identification of proper chemical applications.  This position will also work with the Public Works Department Road Crew, when weather conditions do not allow for safe chemical application.

 

The selected candidate must be able to successfully complete a thorough background check, drug screen, and training as required by KDOA. 

 

Qualifications include:

·        Must be 18 years of age or older

·        Must possess a high school diploma or equivalent
