Solid Waste & Recycling
This department is permitted by the Kansas Department of Health and Environment (Permit # 0428) for:
  • Tire Monofill
  • Construction/Demolition and Industrial Waste Collection
  • Transfer Station (solid waste is collected and transferred to the Plumb Thicket Landfill)

This department also collects recyclable materials. It is located approximately one fourth of a mile north and one half of a mile mile east of Chaparral High School. You may recycle during regular business hours of the department.
