County Landfill
The Harper County Landfill is open Wednesdays - 7:30 a.m. to 3:00 p.m for industrial, construction, and demolition debris.  The Harper County Landfill does not accept household waste or household hazardous waste.  Recycle materials may be dropped off during Wednesdays operations, but no assistance will be available.  The gate will be locked at 3:00 p.m., so please plan to have time to unload and exit before closing time.

For Recycle Only, with some assistance, a non-profit organization led by Mike Alldritt will open the landfill every other Saturday, beginning September 14, 2019, from 8:00 a.m. thru 12:00 p.m.  For more information, contact Mike Alldritt at 620-532-6684.

Harper County Residents may continue to dispose of household waste at Plumb Thicket.  Plumb Thicket does not accept any household hazardous waste, which includes, but is not limited to, antifreeze, auto batteries, used oil, paint, household cleaners, pesticides, and aerosols.  The nearest drop off point for these items is the Pratt County Hazardous Waste Facility located at 1104 S. Main, Pratt, KS.

Harper County will continue to offer Spring Clean Up Days each year.
